Thumb Bank & Trust Helps Child Advocacy Center

Our very own, Heather Drabek, who is also the Treasurer for Huron County’s CA/N (Child Abuse/Neglect) Council found that the Child Advocacy Center of Huron County needed some “sprucing up”.  

A child's advocacy center provides a safe,compassionate and child friendly environment to children physically or sexually abused for the purpose of obtaining timely accurate and reliable investigation information from a child victim through a single interview process reducing further trauma to the child.  Using funds raised from the Bad Axe Office’s Friday Jean fund, Thumb Bank & Trust was proud to help purchase paint, and find a willing volunteer to help make this room more “Kid Friendly”.  Sometimes the small things, like colorful paint, can help make a big difference.  Great job Bad Axe Office!
