Celebrating 45 Years!

Cass City

On Friday October 27th Thumb Bank & Trust celebrated customer appreciation and 45 years of being open in Cass City with treats, cake, and goodies.

When the doors first opened in 1978, staff worked out of a trailer while construction was underway for the new branch. The staff consisted of 4 employees including Curt Strickland, Richard Ypma, Jill Terrian, and Cindy Kruse. 

Today, the staff consists of 11 employees including Hayley Shantz, Cindy Kruse, Eric Brown, Stacy Anthes, Alice Zaleski, Pam LaFave, Deb Dressler, Mandy Calahan, Wendy Hempton, Michelle Speirs, and Mackenzie Hudson.

Cindy Kruse started at Thumb Bank & Trust in 1978 as a Customer Service Representative and has worked at the Cass City Office since its opening. Her farming experiences combined with her passion to help other succeed has given Cindy 45 years at Thumb Bank & Trust, where she currently serves as a Senior Vice President and Ag and Commercial Lender.

Hayley Shantz currently serves as the Branch Manager in Cass City as well as an Ag, Commercial and Residential Lender.
